One of our favorite Greek Islands. Starting with the donkee ride up the traversing slope to the top. to the actual excavations the archaeoligists are still involved with, Santorini brings us back a few hundred years. If you love diving and just lounging on the beaches though, Ios is a better bet. This is the island that looks out toward Santorini and has become a hot spot with the younger European tourists. Never been, but would enjoy going, must be full of tourists in the summer though. I have found Greek people to be among to friendliest, so Greece is always a good place to go.
