For my sons graduation, we went to the country of Samoa. Never have I seen so many wild dogs and insects in my life. Though the county is absolutely beautiful we encountered some trouble while walking though a nearby village. My son, 7, is used to the neighborhood pet being friendly. This time however this rabid dog decided to bite my son on the foot. After repeatedly kicking the dog in the neck, I pulled my son away as the dog collapsed. As if that wasn't enough, I got stung by a mosquito and had diarrhea for the last weekend. Be sure to be prepared when you go into a country that you don't know too much about. I totally agree.
