The guides are quite knowledgeable and you can get a quick overview in a relatively short amount of time. For those who are more fitness oriented I'd highly recommend renting a bike for a few hours and exploring Manhattan that way. You can get off the beaten path and see many sights that most tourists miss in their travels here. Anyone knows if you make it there you can make it anywhere. As for the tourists, it's one of the greatest city that you can visit, filled with remarkable monuments. It's definitely worth the expense.
