Learning Foreign Languages: Learning The Complex Part

When you are through with the basic grammar vocabulary, it is time to start the more complex grammar concepts. This is a stage in the language learning process where you would like to try and simplify every idea.

Prepositions
You must note that it is not very prudent to go through the fine details or to be able to make and understand a valid argument regarding the value of every preposition.

Conjugations

Conjugations are something that seeks more serious concentration and effort. You can start by learning five verbs and memorizing the patterns associated with the same. Now, in order to speed up your language learning process, it is always a great idea to apply all of the same patterns to all of the other verbs that you learn. Unlike what most people think that conjugations are something very difficult to learn, you will be amazed to find out that if you work on it the right way, it is very simple to learn. All you need to do is just to take the time to learn and memorize the patterns that can be applied to all verbs.

However, you should also keep in mind that this principle is not a hard and fast rule. Always remember that as it is in English, in foreign languages as well, there are there are exceptions and irregular verbs that do not follow the regular patterns. But, overall, looking for patterns is a very effective tool to make  complex things much easier and simple.

The Pronunciation Part

Pronunciation is a very important part in any language learning process. This is something where looking for patterns can work wonders. You can start by breaking each word into syllables and annunciating each one. Now, you have to notice those groups of letters that make a particular sound when you group them. This way, with a little practice, you will be able to recognize them in new words, large complex words. You will be able to divide the words into smaller parts and that way it would be much simpler for you to sound out.

Reading Aloud
It is very important that you read everything loud. Actually, our brain is divided into two parts – the conscious part and the unconscious part. Whatever we say in a loud voice, is stored in the unconscious part. When we need them, they can easily be retrieved.

Reading aloud is good for memorizing anything and learning foreign languages is no exception. So, read aloud those prepositions and conjugations in order to get to the inner workings of a language.
