Movies With English Subtitles
One of the best ways to learn a foreign language quickly is to watch movies in that language but with English subtitles. Once you have the basic knowledge regarding the grammar and vocabulary of that language, you can try turning the subtitles off and watching the movie with and without subtitles so that you could test the level of your language skills. You can easily find a DVD title that allows you turn the subtitles off.
Do Not Always Follow The A To Z Formula
You should keep in mind that there are many foreign languages that do not use the same alphabet system or phonetics or arrangements of the letters. Therefore, you cannot always follow the A to Z formula. Different languages use different alphabet system, different phonetics, and the arrangement of the letters is also different. In such cases, you will have to start with learning their specific alphabet, phonetics and alphabet-order. This way, you can effectively improve your pronunciation. Moreover, you will also be able to use a dictionary in that specific language.
Ask Yourself

Also, these days with the internet you can use online clips like those on Youtube, because they’re short and easy to rewind so you can watch over and over again until you start to understand.
